The mat soaks up excess moisture so the wet doesn’t become a slipping hazard while the fibres trap dust and dirt, stopping it trailing across the floor. The latex backing helps reduce movement while you wipe your shoes/boots. When the mat gets dirty, simply pop the mat in the wash at 30 degrees and it will look like new.
